This is truly one of the best positions in banks peninsular.

Enjoy the pleasant and peaceful surroundings and listen to the prolific birdlife including wood pigeons at Charteris Bay.

This modern home is in a sheltered spot five minutes walk from the beach. Easy care modern facilities ( microwave, BBQ) and an expansive deck to bask in the sun .

Outdoor entertaining area, fabulous views, overlooking Charteris Bay, Quail Island and King Billy.Gaze out to sea and follow/watch the recreational boating activtities on Lyttelton Harbour.

There is a safe public reserve adjoining the bottom of the property where children can play.

A cosy log burner warms you in the evening, (firewood supplied)

The house is handy to the

*beach, - Paradise beach is a secret sanctuary hidden by the gum trees five minutes walk from the

house and great swimming spot.

*boat ramp, - situated below the house on the main road for boating enthusiasts.

*yacht club,

*horse riding

*Orton Bradley Park walking tracks.

All these activities are within walking distance.

Our holiday home provides a comfortable base from which to explore the bays around Banks Peninsula, Lyttelton Harbour and is enroute to a number of popular visitor spots like Diamond Harbour, Purau, Pigeon Bay, little river and Akaroa.

With Christchurch only 30 minutes away there's always lots to do.

Regular ferries tour the harbour and cross from Port of Lyttelton to Diamond Harbour (often via Quail Island). A variety of cafes/bars and 'essential supplies' stores are dotted about the Peninsula - but with Christchurch so close, you are spoilt for choice!


The House

This house comprises an open span kitchen dining and lounge opening on to an expansive deck with main(queensize bed) and second bedroom(king single beds) and separate toilet and bathroom on the upper level.

Down the stairs to a second smaller kitchen and lounge opening onto a lower deck. There are also two more bedrooms(single beds) with bathroom and laundry on this level.
